Message from the president
We are a specialized technical trading company dealing in cutting-edge overseas semiconductor components for microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz applications.
Our company name, AMT, is derived from “Advanced Microelectronics Technology.”
Through our deep expertise and knowledge in this field, as well as our daily access to overseas markets, we have built
a strong network with overseas manufacturers.
Furthermore, based on our 27 years of operational experience in this industry, we have established close agency agreements
with numerous leading overseas manufacturers.
As a result, to support the product design, research, and development needs of our many domestic customers,
we stock a wide range of high-performance semiconductor components—not available in the domestic market—for mass production, research, and evaluation purposes.
Our company imports, supplies, and sells overseas semiconductor components for mass-produced products to several major domestic manufacturers.
At the same time, we leverage the agility unique to a small business to consistently and sincerely address each customer’s specific needs on a case-by-case basis.
We place the utmost importance on building trust with our customers and strive to establish long-term business relationships with them.
We spare no effort in our daily work to earn the trust of our many customers.
We also flexibly accommodate customers seeking small order quantities, short lead times, and low prices.

・Earned a bachelor's degree from a Japanese engineering university (majoring in semiconductor engineering and communications engineering)
・Earned a master's degree from California State University, Los Angeles
(Majors: Semiconductor Engineering and Computer Science)
・Worked for 25 years as a semiconductor sales representative at the Japanese subsidiary of a U.S. semiconductor manufacturer
・January 1999: AMT Co., Ltd. was established. To this day.
In addition, the master’s programs at California State University include aerospace and defense-related programs located in the Los Angeles area
I was able to receive direct instruction, guidance, and mentorship from a team of instructors—all active design and development department heads (holding PhDs or master’s degrees) dispatched from leading companies—
and gained valuable, practical, and cutting-edge insights as well as a broad professional network.

In our company, in order to get use to design with confidence for microwave and millimeter-wave components to be imported from abroad, we have delivered to ascertain whether or not are included 6 specific chemical substance. In addition to all of overseas manufacturers, we ask strongly to ship developed a microwave and millimeter-wave components corresponding to the RoHS Directive. For our business partners, environment-friendly, we ask that you to use it adopted the RoHS compliant products friendly to the safe and environmentally. In our company we have control of the RoHS-compliant products.
- ・ RoHS Directive is a regulation on hazardous substances that the EU (European Union) enforced on July 1, 2006.
- ・ RoHS is an abbreviation of “Restriction of Hazardous Substances” and restricts the inclusion of harmful substances in electrical and electronic equipment.The regulated substances are Pb (lead), Cd (cadmium), Cr6 + (hexavalent chromium), Hg (mercury), PBB (polybromobiphenyl), and PBDE (polybromodiphenyl ether).
